Jordan Higa is a designer, illustrator and painter born and raised in Honolulu. Her style ranges from realism to loose linework, a spectrum she enjoys traversing in mediums of all sizes — from her whimsical stationery line celebrating the everyday charm of Hawai‘i to murals for local and corporate brands. She has previously collaborated with 7-Eleven Hawai‘i, Conde Nast Traveler, Irresistible Foods Group and Target, and contributed illustrations to the cookbook, “Aloha Kitchen.”
Jordan earned her design degree from the University of San Francisco, worked for fashion brands in New York City and studied watercolor at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn before returning to Honolulu in 2015. She spent seven years working as a designer at a local communications and marketing firm, while freelance illustrating and growing her stationery line in her free time. In 2024, she shifted to full-time freelancing, embracing an illustration-driven design path. She hopes to continue partnering with others to bring their stories to life and bring people together.
